How much does it cost to host an event at the vineyard?
Our pricing is based on a few factors including number of attendees, room/space needs, etc. Tell us what you have in mind and we’ll be happy to work up the numbers.
What is the maximum capacity for parties/events?
We have options galore. Tell us how many you’re expecting and, chances are, we have the perfect-sized space for it.
Can we add a wine tasting to our event rental?
Absolutely. Not only CAN you do it, we totally think you should!

Planning a private party or after-hours bash at the winery?
We’ve got the gorgeous views, the cozy atmosphere, and—of course—the wine covered. But let’s be honest: even the finest Cabernet needs a delicious partner in crime.
To ensure your event runs seamlessly from the first pour to the last bite, we require all after-hours rentals to select a caterer from our fabulous hand-picked culinary partners.
We’ve teamed up with the absolute best in the business—local legends who know our space inside and out, pair brilliantly with our wines, and know how to throw a party:
• Canapés Catering – Sophisticated bites and elegant spreads that look as good as they taste.
• Celebrations Catering – Frederick’s go-to for delicious, full-service event planning and crowd-pleasing menus.
• Eleven Courses Catering & Event Co. – For when you want to turn your party into a culinary masterpiece (it really is an art form).

Wine Lovers Rejoice
• The Perks: Enjoy a 20% discount off our on-site price rate when you order for your event.
• The Details: Minimum purchase of 2 cases per 100 guests (must be reserved at least 2 weeks in advance). Want to taste before you decide? Wine sampling is available for a small fee.
Unlimited Open Bar Packages (4 Hours of Service)
• Standard Open Bar: $35 per person (Includes standard spirits & standard beers)
• Premium Open Bar: $50 per person (Includes top-shelf spirits & premium beers)
• Beer-Only Open Bar: $25 per person (Includes domestic & imported beers)
Need an extra hour of fun? Just ask us about adding additional time.
The Fine Print (Keep It Legal, Keep It Safe)
• Professional Staffing: Served by our awesome winery team for $30/hour per bartender (includes setup/breakdown). We require 1 bartender per 50 guests so your line keeps moving.
• No Shots Allowed: We’re all about sipping and savoring. Shots are not permitted.
• No Outside Alcohol: All alcohol must be purchased through Big Cork Winery. Any outside booze will be confiscated (and nobody wants that.)
• Last Call: Bar service wraps up strictly at 10:30 PM.

How many people can your property accommodate?
We would love to host up to 200 of your closest friends and family members and show them why Maryland wedding venues just don’t get better than Big Cork.
Do you provide catering services?
To deliver the best weddings in Maryland, we partner with five ROCK STAR caterers who offer a wide range of menu options:

Can my dog (or cat or lizard) be part of the ceremony?
You betcha. Your four-legged friends may join the party, but they must remain outside and not enter the building (because of all kinds of government regulations and annoying stuff like that).
Can you offer a full bar, including beer and spirits?
Yes. We have a special license that allows us to serve beer and spirits in addition to our award-winning wine.
Do you have an on-site wedding coordinator?
Nope. But we DO provide two staff members who handle the logistics of our building during your event and work side-by-side with your wedding vendors. We ask that you have a DAY-OF coordinator for your event to ensure all is flawless.
Is mine the only wedding happening at your location that day?
Yep. We only host one wedding per day. It’s YOUR BIG DAY after all. We want it to be all about you. Just another reason we create the best wedding in Maryland, or anywhere.
Do you offer micro-weddings?
Of course. We have a variety of options during our off-season for nuptials of less than 30 guests at a discounted rate. Regardless of size, weddings in Maryland are the best when they’re right here.
Do you offer onsite accommodations?
We sure do. Our 7,000 sq. ft. Big House is located here on the property and is the perfect place for the entire bridal party to get gussied up.
